Our goal is to raise awareness of how important dogs are to humans’ wellbeing. Dogs help us humans with our mental, emotional and physical health. Dogs’ don’t have a voice and we want to support their wellbeing within the community. Making Dorset as dog friendly as possible.

This is your ‘directory of dog’.

In 2023 we created 12 Pet Food Banks in 12 months - across Dorset to support this important connection between human and dog. We are a not-for-profit fundraising to help in the welfare of dogs.

Dorset Dogs CIC is incorporated as a social enterprise under registration number 13741228

Dorset Dogs CIC is in no way affiliated with the council funded sub-division of Dorset Heaths Partnership - Dorset Dogs who represents council and landowner interests in the control of dogs with their Doggy Do Code. They are a separate and entirely different body who is not incorporated and they are not a charity. We do not involve ourselves with the control of dogs in wildlife and heathland areas, or dogs in urban settings which is their main concern. We ONLY represent dogs and dog owners who are members of our group, our goals and direction are set by dog parents and owners and no other 3rd party and we are a not-for-profit helping dogs and pets and owners within the community and their welfare.
