Mindset for Observation
Focusing your mind and slowing your thoughts. Doing this or 20 minutes a day can increase your Dog Body Language skills immeasurably.
The flame meditation: help to focus the mind for observation
You can use your own flame or the exercise
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING IMAGES
On a notepad draw three vertical columns:
Firstly, note down how you feel about each of the images and how the dog feels
Then second column or row, what do you observe? (without analysis)
Then analyse and come to some conclusions about the body language
followed by a section on what you think the dog needs…
Start with the first image and work through the three sections and then move onto the next
