Keywords: Nose-led, Loving, Intelligent.

Traits: Intelligent, greedy, so can put on weight. Love to be with their family (or staff as we are known) Amiable and alert, showing no aggression or timidity.

Exercise: Loves all sorts of walks, - urban/rural,  but also loves sleeping,. Can do agility/hoopers, not natural swimmers.

Health:  Normally healthy, but some health issues can be, mengingtis, epilepsy, Cheery eye.

Why I wouldn’t own another breed: Not easy, but with training (easy as they love treats) they are a lovely family pet, gentle and so loving and always entertaining.

Comparisons: Bassett/Fox Hounds/Harriers.

Average weight: 10-20kg but obviously look at the shape/tuck/waist.

Downs: Walking off lead is challenging, can be done, but they were bred to be independent and chase, so make sure that you  are aware of this

Ups: A beautiful, loving gentle dog. Never boring !
