Ritual Prep
for Full Moon Eclipse in Sag
How to prep…
Have a listen to my quick audio guide on how to prep for this ritual below.
This ritual will be an offering or despacho made to nature.
Have a think which nature being and element you would like to make this offering to… Is it the sea? a river? The element of water. Or a fire pit? Do you wish to bury this in the ground and call on the spirit of that place? Or send it over a cliff or a pass into the wind?
Call on this nature being to ask what they would like from you. Say hello and bring this nature being to mind and get a feeling for them. Simply ask “if I knew what you need from me, what would I know?” Let that go and see if any inspiration comes in x
Mental prep:
Ask yourself and write down what is perhaps misaligned for you at this moment. You may cast your mind back to your original New Moon intentions and see if it’s to do with these. Or cast your mind back since the Full Moon in Scorpio. How are you feeling? Are you ready to break from old habits, is there something out of whack?
Then write down what you have achieved. What things you are doing that are working for you. What you love about yourself and the gifts that you bring to this life.
What you may need:
-A yellow candle and a black candle (any candle will do if you don’t have these)
-smudge/palo santo/incense
-a feather/bell/music to represent air
-some sacred or filtered water in a small bowl or a shell for water
-a crystal, or anything to represent earth
-something to represent the moon
-an obsidian crystal or black stone to remove negativity
(the sea has gifted me a black stone which I am going to place in the offering. See whether nature offers you anything to include in the offering)
-string
-tea for drinking
-your journal and pen
-a piece of paper to write on and burn
-a cauldron or heat proof dish to burn paper on
-parcel paper/tissue paper or anything to wrap up your offering
-disposable item(s) to represent what is misaligned for you
(for me this carrots for my eyes which are suffering at the moment)
-disposable item(s) for what is aligned (I have some gluten free oat cakes to represent my achievements in cutting out gluten recently)
-flowers and petals
