Dave graduated from Bristol University in 2005. Dave enjoys all soft tissue surgery but especially endoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic spays.

A talk on Managing Heart Disease for pet parents given by our group’s vet Dr David Badger

The anatomy and physiology of the two most common heart diseases
a) endocardiosis (also called mitral valve disease or MMVD)
b) dilated cardiomyopathy
Investigation and treatment of both with prognosis
Management of heart disease and advice
Useful apps
Heart specialists and what this entails
and end of life considerations to help you plan and prepare for when the time comes. (All our dogs have to pass at some time and most of us don’t plan for it as we all want them to live forever! With heart disease, it helps to plan for the future).
