Spyway and Dancing Ledge
CHANGE PICCIE!
This is a pituresque walk along the cliffs with endless sea views!
Park at the National trust Spyway carpark BH19 3HG.
The car park is free for National Trust members. Go through the gate and follow the track through the meadows to the barn. There are information boards in the barn with details about the history and local nature.
Continue to the left of the barn, through the gate, across 2 fields, and onto the steep descent to the cliffs. The walk is along clifftops but there is a fence so it feels quite safe even with an off lead dog.
Dancing Ledge is the platform below the cliffs at the bottom of the hill left by quarrying. We went down to explore before returning to the South West Coast Path and continuing towards Kimmeridge.
We did and out and back that took around 2.5 hours including snack and view breaks.
